New York and Syracuse City Schools Want Veterans as Teachers
10/9/2019 12:00:00 AM

New York and Syracuse City Schools are looking to recruit veterans from across the nation as teachers in their school district. They welcome veterans who are currently in school or already teachers. Since NY is one of the top paying states for teachers, Syracuse City Schools are hoping to welcome out-of-state candidates. Potential candidates may also be eligible for relocation assistance.

The Syracuse City School District educates more than 21,000 students each day, from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. Their vision is to prepare and inspire all students to innovate locally and contribute globally. They embrace the challenge of giving all students a vibrant education with new urgency and would like to include veterans on their teaching staff.
