Ohio has much to offer veterans seeking the opportunity to engage and inspire young minds.
We offer an Alternative Educator Licensure program to anyone holding a bachelor's degree.
Additionally, licensure is available for those interested in Career/Technical programs
who have a high school diploma and 5 years of documented work experience.
We are a state that values and appreciates the knowledge and expertise that our nation's
veterans have to offer. In recent years we have passed legislation that increases starting pay,
provides immediate in-state tuition rates to relocating veterans and family members,
and eliminates the fees for initial and renewal licensure for veterans.
With our growing need for dedicated teachers and administrators, The Buckeye State
needs you to join us in our effort to serve the educational and developmental needs of our future generations.
